Take Home Turn-In
Your lab report must include the following sections:
- Abstract
- Introduction
- Methods
- Your methods section should only be a brief summary written in general terms. For example, suppose you were writing this report for your employer. They will not need to know all of the exact steps, but you should be able to communicate the general idea of what type of analysis was performed.
- Results
- This section should include a site map of your homestead that includes a hillshade. The map layout should be designed appropriately using guidelines indicated in theBasic Cartographic Design Reference.
- Conclusion
- This section should include the an answer to the following questions:
Question 1: What is the resolution of the files?
Question 2: What is the spatial reference associated with the files?
Question 3: What is the "Pixel Type" and what is the "Pixel Depth" for the files?
- Acknowledgments
- If you use any basemaps other than your own, you should cite your sources here. You should also cite any sources of data.
We are expecting the reports to be professional. Points will be deducted exponentially for any chronic issues and persistent mistakes. Incomplete lab assignments will receive a grade of 0.
